First Day of Kindergarten

Where does time go? I shot this picture and then, she was gone.

And she never looked back, not even once. I already miss her!

We had a great parent/student orientation yesterday at Ellie's kindergarten class. This of course was done to ease both parents and students into the transition of Kindergarten but of course, Ellie just saw it as another chance to go to school! Here she is posing in front of Vista Verde. We are giving the year-round school a try with this neighborhood school that everyone raves about...

Here are Ellie's teachers. Mrs. Larson (blond) and Mrs. Anderson They will be co-teaching. Just their expressions on their faces tell you how perfect these women are for this age group!

Ellie is so very excited...Especially since she knows two friends that are in her class. Isabella (right next to her) an old preschool classmate, and Millie a cute friend from our old ward.

Each student was asked to come forward and greet the class. Ellie smiled from ear to ear the whole time!

And off we go....

Pioneer Park

In celebration of Pioneer Day, we ventured out to a fantastic park highly recommended by a good friend. We had lots of fun, playing in the splash pad and fountains then out to the park. The kids then pretended to be Pioneers while playing in the wagon! We will definitely get back there!!!
