Our Sunshine Day!

Today was the perfect day to go swimming! It was in the high 70's, so a girlfriend and I decided to take our girls to the pool. It was so much fun! Ellie followed the lead of her friend Addison and wore her floaties and was totally swimming with them all by herself!! I could not believe it! She even jumped in with them all by herself....wow how my little one is growing up fast! We definitely need to put her in swim lessons. Ames and I just soaked in the sun, although next time I am going in!

Cars,Cars,and Cars

So we just sold James' truck to his brother in-law who will get sooo much more out of it since he lives in Utah. The 4x4 will come in handy there since here in Cali the only time James has used it is when Ellie has played in the truck and switched it to the 4x4 setting without him knowing....

So now we are trying to decide in a family car. There are pros and cons to all three of them. So lend me your opinions and when James asks me where I got my resources I'll tell him my blog....hee

God Really Does Answer Prayers!

So Sunday night as I was saying my prayers, I asked Hevenly Father to bless my sister Camilla and her Husband with another Baby. I had said a real sincere prayer telling him all of my arguments on why they should be blessed to have another baby. Then on Monday, Camilla and I got together at the park and I had mentioned to her that I had said a little prayer for her.....well then I get home that evening and check her blog and there it is in a discrete way, "BABY #3" for the Rasmussens!!!! Maybe I need to pray to win the lotto .....hee Congrats to Ethan and Luke!!!

Sisters

These sisters are going to drive the boys crazy...Amerie in the pink at 4 months and Ellie in white at 4 months too! Can you tell which one loves tummy time?

Ellie's First Hair Cut

Since Ellie is now potty trained and we don't have to fight with her to change her diapers, we thought it would be nice to comb her hair without such a fight....hence the hair cut! She wasn't really into the tv screen with cartoons and her rocket chair she got to sit in, but rather the lady with the scary scissors. But the difference in a couple of seconds of actual hair cutting, made all the difference in her hair. Now she looks more like a cute girl with curls instead of a cute girl with dreadlocks.
