Week Three in Review

  We were given free tickets to the Long Beach Aqarium, so there we headed!

The girls were not to sure about touching the Sting Rays

Eva and Ezra were mesmorized by the passing by of swimming sea otters

And Eva made great friends with a hot air blowing shark!

We finished off our great week with a fun tour to Tanaka Farms! I am totally sold on buying my produce from local farms! We got to pick our own basket of strawberries and we munched on quiet a few while at work! Thanks to our favorite W’s for making it that much sweeter!!!!

Week Two of Our Easter Break

We loved this exhibit! So glad we had some FUN company to ease the horrible LA traffic! This visit made me really think about how it would had been living on a boat for 40 days and 40 nights with two of every kind of animal-how crazy!!!

Me: “You don't need soft toilet paper this one is just fine.”

Ellie: “Why do even even buy this sandpaper, Mom?”

To HE that is expressing HIS thoughts and likes on HIS personal type of toilet paper… Now You have Done It!

Our 1st Week Of Adventure

Here’s to our fabulous first week of our three-week vacation from school! We had a blast going to the beach with our favorite Willies.. The only unexpected hardship was EVA! I thought she would be terrified of the waves and just want to sit and play in the sand right next to me…

She wanted right in! I was running around all over the place trying to stop her from being taken by the waves! This summer should be a blast!

Eating gourmet Beachcomber hot dogs and being indoctrinated to the Willie tradition of pina coladas!!!! YUM

We ventured out to the Youth Expo and had so much fun with all the animals and booth set up for kids! This is a must-do for next year!

Pretend City with the Busby’s, play dates at Chloe’s, Heritage Park and water popcorn fountain (fun)

Jog-a-thon

We had our first Jog-a –Thon at school and it was a BLAST! Ellie was so excited for the whole month when they first announced it and the class has been prepping for this big jog by taking practice laps during the school day. Ellie asked for me to braid her hair, which was really sweet since she hates to have her hair tied up!

They came out and circled around and stretched!

Ellie was all smiles afterwards! All of the kids did fantastic! Ellie ran two miles! 7 laps around the field. The whole gang went to participate and at times, Ellie told james and I she wanted to run by herself. We were sad, but she had her “team” to run with! Mrs. Larson has been a dream teacher for Ellie! I am so thankful for her and the wonderful memories and experiences she is sharing and creating with my Ellie!
