Out of Comission

So I know it has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog, but it has been a little busy here at the Johnson House.

1. We moved last Friday, and so all week long I was trying to get the house packed up and ready for the movers. I will forever be grateful for James and my Brother In-law in convincing me to get movers. I can't EVEN imagine doing it myself. They were fast, efficient and well worth the $ Thanks guys!

2. Of course with the craziness in the house with moving, Ellie had to come down with something. She had a high fever of 102 F for over three days and was REALLY clingy and needy. Thankfully my Mom was here to help me because if not I would have gotten nothing done for the move. I am so thankful for Antibiotics!!! I don't know what I would ever do without it. Within hours of taking it, Ellie was completely back to herself! Now i just need to find a medicine that takes away the whining and crying that she has grown accustomed too......

3. James had to go to Utah for a funeral this passed week. His cousin had struggled with bulimia for most of her life and finally her heart just could not take it anymore and she died. With this brought upon our family some reflection of the Eternal Plan of our Savior Jesus Christ. And the importance of being grateful for our family and everyday blessings. Our prayers are with our loved ones who are missing her tonight.

4. Tomorrow morning we are taking a trip to Utah for my cousin Raquel's wedding. I am very excited because she is getting married in the Salt Lake Temple and I have never been inside. I can only imagine the beauty I will behold. We are looking forward to visiting with family and eating at my favorite place for breakfast....Cracker Barrel!!! YUM

5. Its my birthday on Saturday and I told James that all I want for my birthday is a free day off! Meaning no kids, no hubby, no house, no dinner, no dishes, no nothing just some me time maybe at the beach...I wonder if that is possible...For once I want to be dependent on someone else and not vice versa. But since we will be out of town we shall see if my wish comes true... I'll be the first to say it, Happy Birthday Ev!

So that is all for now. I will try to get some pictures up soon of the house and such. Sorry for the wait, I need to find those chargers. Some where in a box or something! Heee

I love that all you want for your birthday is a free day...the idea made me smile! Sounds good to me. And if you don't get it while you are in Utah, then make sure you get it after you get back!!! It's a well-deserved gift!

I am a total believer in movers. (Unless you have lots and lots of family who can help out)
