Amerie

Ames is now almost 19 months old and becoming a toddler way too quickly for my liking! Some of her favorite words are "abrir" (open), mais (more), agua, suju (dirty), mamae, papai (mom, dad). She is speaking more Portuguese than Ellie did at this age. It is so cute to hear her say these words. She understands everything we tell her. In fact, we have started timeouts with Ames. She'll go running over to the timeout spot and sit until we come and get her. Of course she thinks it is a game. But she has seen her sister do it many times and so already knows the drill. It is already a competition in the house of who gets to sit on Dads lap first, or who gets to wash their hands first! Sibling rivalry is prominent in our house! But it is so cute to watch the girls play together! Amerie really loves her big sister!
All this growing up and she still loves her bottle!
